Today Zareh Nalbandian shared some exciting leadership news: “I’m thrilled to announce Animal Logic’s Chief Operating Officer Sharon Taylor will step up to become Co-CEO, joining me in leading the company. I plan to step down from my position in September this year, and Sharon will then serve as the sole CEO. For almost 20 years, Sharon has contributed to Animal Logic’s success, and I’m confident that her leadership will ensure the studio continues to grow and innovate in the animation space for years to come. I’m excited about my next chapter, and I look forward to continuing to support the screen sector in Australia and beyond and focusing on producing and developing compelling stories with AL Entertainment and Truant Pictures.”
Sharon Taylor echoed Zareh’s statement and said: “I’m honoured to continue championing Animal Logic’s unique culture, pursuit of excellence, and history as a leading animation studio responsible for developing iconic imagery for films like Happy Feet, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, and The LEGO Movies. I feel a great sense of responsibility and pride at the opportunity to further support our incredibly talented Animals. For over 30 years, Zareh has pushed the boundaries of filmmaking, creating a strong foundation for us all to build upon. He’s an innovator and inspiration in this industry, and I look forward to expanding our reach in animation and entertaining our members worldwide.”
