As a DevOps Engineer – Build you will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing practices such as infrastructure as code, microservices, monitoring and logging, communication and collaboration. You will advocate and contribute to the development of organizational capabilities for systems integration and build including automation and continuous integration.
The successful candidate will be a Full Stack Developer with experience in GraphQL, Infrastructure as Code, and Solution Integration, and have a passion for cloud technologies and creating robust, secure, and efficient systems.
What you’ll get to do:
- Work on securely bridging cloud/on-prem infrastructure functions between organizations and sites
- Create and maintain GraphQL endpoints, Terraform modules, and a standard library of reusable AL modules for cloud-based solutions
- Assist with code modernization and cloud uplift functions internally, with a focus on DevOps components
- Implement appropriate governance and controls into Infrastructure as Code stacks, and document them for effective use by other teams
- Maintain IaC templates, API endpoints, and unit tests
- Support training and inclusion initiatives
- Participate in incident response and collaborate with vendor representatives to solve difficult and specialized problems
- Review cloud spend and work with product owners to optimize resources
- Scale compliance, security, and reliability efforts in cloud and on-prem to match business requirements
- Maintain observability tech (e.g. OpenSearch, Grafana, Zabbix dashboards), best-practice example repositories, and documentation
What you bring:
- 5+ years in a Dev or Ops role, in any industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or DevOps Engineer with a focus on development related work
- Strong understanding of GraphQL, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
