The Great Gatsby wins AACTA Award

Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby has taken out The AACTA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Visual Effects at the 3rd AACTA Awards Ceremony held in Sydney on Tuesday night.

Congratulations to Animal Logic’s VFX Supervisor Andy Brown and VFX Producer Ingrid Johnston, as well as the whole Animal Logic Gatsby team for their well deserved win!

The film claimed all six of the technical prizes for which it was nominated, coming away with awards for cinematography, production design, costume design, editing, sound and original music score.

The 3rd AACTA Awards saw The Great Gatsby dominate taking out a total of 13 gongs including Best Feature Film!
